Proficiency testing involves the use of interlaboratory comparisons to determine the performance characteristics of a laboratory and is conducted in accordance with the requirements of the main international document establishing the requirements for conducting proficiency testing GOST ISO/IEC 17043-2013 "Conformity assessment. Basic requirements for conducting proficiency testing".
Proficiency testing is implemented through proficiency testing programmes, which can be designed and implemented in one or more rounds in a specific area of measurement and calibration.
The scope of accreditation and the plan of proficiency testing programs are posted on our official website.
  • In order to expand the scope of accreditation of the qualification testing provider (QTP), Kazakhstan Metrology Center LLP is conducting surveys on the need to conduct comparisons among verification and calibration laboratories.
